Start your next day with a delicious breakfast then get ready to transfer to Jaisalmer, also known as the Golden City.
Take a short stopover at the Jaisalmer War Memorial, which honors the contributions and sacrifices of war heroes, and also traces the evolution of the Indian Army.
On arrival in Jaisalmer, check in to your hotel and take some rest.
The rest of the day is at leisure and you are free to explore the colorful markets and fairs.
Once you are done exploring the markets, return back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 02 :

Jaisalmer to Tanot Mata and Longewala - Day Excursion

Morning breakfast at the hotel, start your day trip in the morning from Jaisalmer.
The distance between Jaisalmer and Tanot Mata Temple is approximately 120 kilometers, and it takes around 2 hours to reach by road. Arrive at Tanot Mata Temple, a significant temple located near the India-Pakistan border.
This temple is famous for its association with the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, where the temple was miraculously protected from enemy bombings. Explore the temple complex, known for its intricate architecture and spiritual significance. Offer prayers to Goddess Tanot Mata, the deity worshipped at the temple, and seek her blessings.
After visiting Tanot Mata Temple, proceed towards the Longewala border post, which holds historical importance. It was the site of a crucial battle during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Learn about the heroic defence put up by the Indian soldiers against the enemy forces and the strategic significance of the location. After a day filled with historical and spiritual experiences, start your journey back to Jaisalmer.

Jaisalmer to Sam Sand Dunes - Sightseeing and Evening at Sand Dunes

After breakfast, you can proceed to uncover the secrets hidden behind the Golden Sands of the Thar Desert in Jaisalmer.
You can visit the golden Jaisalmer Fort that looks like it has just risen from the sands with its golden limestone walls.
And then, you can proceed to marvel at the beautiful royal Havelis including Patwon-Ki-Haveli, Nathmal-Ki-Haveli, and Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli that speaks of the royal past.
Dating back from the 12th to 15th century, these Havelis feature exquisite carvings and filigree work.
After experiencing the stunning architectural marvels you can take a short stopover at the beautiful Gadisar Lake that was once the only source of water in Jaisalmer.
You can then depart for a camel ride to the beautiful Sam Sand Dunes overlooking a spectacular sunset.
After a wonderful camel safari, you can proceed to check in to the desert camps and enjoy folk performances by the locals while enjoying a bonfire.
